While the character can see the world around him, there is still a sense of separation, representing how he feels emotionally disconnected at times. I like this one because we are looking at the perspective of the person who is on the ground; but if it were the other way around it would still be good because you would be able to see the victim scared out of their mind.

The way the panels are placed side by side also guides the viewer’s eyes from left to right, making the composition feel connected and powerful.

The ground feels huge beneath my tiny legs. The concrete stretches out like a giant gray desert, full of deep lines and rough hills that only ants like me notice. I walk carefully, following the scent trail left by my colony. Every step matters because somewhere ahead there is food, and my job is to help find it. I am not alone on this journey. Another ant walks beside me, and together we search the ground for anything useful to bring back to the nest. The sun is bright above us, casting long shadows that move with every step we take. To humans this place might look empty, but to us it is a world full of paths, smells, and signals. Suddenly we pause. Something interesting is ahead, and we inspect it carefully with our antennae. This is how we communicate and understand our environment. If it is food, we will carry the message back to the others so they can follow the trail. Life as an ant is small but important. Every trip outside the colony helps our family survive. Even on this giant concrete surface, we continue moving forward, working together, and doing our part for the colony.

In my photo, a group of students is standing in a gym while a basketball is flying through the air. The text and image work together to create a feeling of urgency. After viewing my photograph, I want the viewer to feel alert and a little tense. The basketball looks like it might hit someone, which creates a moment of suspense. The words “watch out” act like a warning and make the viewer feel like they are part of the scene. It almost feels like the message is directed at them, which makes the image more engaging.
