This photograph stands out because it captures the natural patterns in wood in a way that’s really eye catching. The curves and lines almost look like waves or flowing water which makes the image feel full of motion and life. The warm lighting brings out all the different shades of brown and gold, showing the depth and texture of the wood. What makes it so interesting is how something so simple just a piece of wood can look so detailed and beautiful when you look closely.                                                                 What I like most about this photo is how it almost looks like a painting or a landscape. It takes something normal and turns it into something artistic. There are no man-made objects in the photo, which helps you focus on the natural beauty of the wood. It also makes you think about how long it took for the wood to form those patterns, which adds a deeper meaning. Overall, it’s a strong photo that makes you stop and appreciate the little things in nature.

what I learned about photography

Photography exposure is controlled by three key settings aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, which work together to balance light in your image. Aperture determines how wide the lens opens a lower f-number like f/2.8 lets in more light and creates a blurred background, while a higher f-number like f/16 keeps more of the scene in focus. Shutter speed controls how long the camera’s sensor is exposed to light faster speeds like 1/1000 sec freeze action, while slower speeds like 1 sec can create motion blur. ISO affects the sensor’s sensitivity to light: a low ISO 100 gives clear, sharp images with little grain, while a higher ISO 1600 works better in low light but can add noise. Different camera modes help you manage these settings like Auto where the camera makes all the choices, Aperture Priority you control the aperture, Shutter Priority you set the shutter speed, and Manual  you set all the settings, giving you the flexibility to adapt based on your photo needs.
